Acceptance of Terms

By inviting or using Overseer, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the bot.

Data we collect

We only collect data necessary for Overseer to function

User data: User ID
Server (guild) data: Server ID, channel IDs
Other data: Chatbridge settings, counter settings, publisher settings

Data usage

Providing service: We use your data to provide features like publishers or chatbridges that require us to store data like channel IDs which are essential for those features to function.
Fixing stuff: We may use the data we gather to troubleshoot the bot

Data storage and security

The data is securely stored. As of the 28th of Novemeber of 2025 the database is not accessible to the outside internet and is only accessible through the bot. We will make sure unauthorized third parties do not have access to this data. You may request the deletion or the access to said data by contacting us (see contact information below).

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties unless we are required to do so (ex.: we share it with the Discord API to provide the services).

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
